BYD Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD vehicles in Malaysia, has introduced the 2025 BYD Atto 3 Ultra. While this isn’t the recently announced facelifted model, it does come with a significant price reduction.
Now priced at RM 123,800, the 2025 BYD Atto 3 Ultra gets a massive RM 44,000 price cut compared to when the model was first launched in Malaysia back in 2023. The new RM 123,800 selling price puts the BYD Atto 3 Ultra much closer in terms of pricing to the popular Proton eMas 7.
The first 1,000 buyers of the 2025 BYD Atto 3 Ultra can benefit from the Ultra Launch Package that not only slashes the retail price by another RM 5,000 (bringing the Atto 3 Ultra’s price down to RM 118,800), but also includes an 8-year service package (worth RM 4,888), free 7 kW wall charger (worth RM 3,699), V2L adapter (worth RM 988), Type 2 cable (worth RM 1,796), and complimentary unlimited internet for 2 years.
Mechanically, the 2025 BYD Atto 3 Ultra remains unchanged as before. The front-mounted electric motor does 150 kW (204 PS) and 310 Nm is juiced by a 60.48-kWh Blade lithium-ion battery pack. Driving range 480 km under the NEDC test cycle.
Similar to the earlier models, the 2025 BYD Atto 3 Ultra supports up to 88 kW DC fast charging. This allows the Atto 3 Ultra to charge from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. AC charging is supported too, up to 7 kW, which takes 9 hours and 42 minutes to fully charge.
Everything else on the 2025 BYD Atto 3 Ultra is similar as before, including the LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry with NFC card, single-zone automatic air-conditioning, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Qi wireless charging pad, 7 airbags, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Rear Collision Warning (RCW).
