Bermaz Xpeng Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Xpeng vehicles in Malaysia has just launched the new 2026 Xpeng G6 RWD Standard Range in the country, following the launch of the Long Range and AWD Performance variants back in October 2025.
Overview
The newly-launched 2026 Xpeng G6 RWD Standard Range is the new entry point into the G6 line-up, priced from RM 158,888 (on-the-road, without insurance). In-line with its sibling models, the Xpeng G6 RWD Standard Range is imported (CBU) from China.
Exterior
What sets the exterior of the G6 RWD Standard Range apart from its more potent siblings are the 18-inch alloy wheels; the other two variants are equipped with larger 20-inch units.
That said, it still gets automatic LED headlights with Auto-sensing high beams and Dipped Headlights, electric release door open button, hidden door handles, automatic rain-sensing wipers, second-row privacy glass, panoramic skylight-free sunshade with heat insulation layer, and heated front windshield.
Colour options include Arctic White, Graphite Grey, Midnight Black, Silver Frost, and Stellar Purple.
Interior
In order to achieve the sub-RM 160k price point, some sacrifices had to be made. In this case, the Xpeng G6 RWD Standard Range drops the massage function for both front seats, Nappa leather upholstery, streaming media rear view mirror (replaced with regular manual anti-glare-type), and suede pillar covers.
Furthermore, the nVidia Drive Orin-X has been omitted to make way for a front-view integrated machine, while the Drive Recorder and Driver State Monitoring (DSM) features have also been removed to keep prices low.
Powertrain
The G6 RWD Standard Range gets the smallest capacity battery in the G6 line-up, a 68.5-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which is built on Xpeng’s 800V 5C ultra-fast charging architecture. DC fast charging from 10 to 80 percent takes as little as 12 minutes, while WLTP-rated driving range is quoted at up to 480 km.
Its single rear-mounted electric motor does 185 kW (251 PS) and 440 Nm of torque, allowing for a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 6.94 seconds. Top speed is identical to its other siblings at 202 km/h.
Under the WLTP test cycle, the Xpeng G6 RWD Standard Range returns up to 480 km, whilst consuming about 16.6 kWh/100 km.

Warranty & Aftersales
The 2026 Xpeng G6 RWD Standard Range features the same warranty package as its other siblings, including a five-year vehicle warranty or 120,000 km, along with five years of free service and maintenance or 100,000 km. The high-voltage battery pack is covered by an eight-year warranty with a mileage limit of 160,000 km, offering long-term peace of mind.
Customers also receive a choice of either a two-year unlimited charging package via JomCharge or a complimentary 11 kW wallbox with installation by DC Handal.
The Xpeng G6 Standard Range will be showcased to the public at the upcoming Xpeng Roadshow at LUXE, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, running from 14 to 18 January 2026, between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
