Lepas Malaysia to establish 20 outlets, 3 SUV models confirmed

Chery’s latest sub-brand is Malaysia-bound, as Lepas Malaysia has announced its network expansion strategy, as the company plans for an official market launch within the first half of 2026.

Lepas Malaysia has confirmed the establishment of 20 sales and service outlets strategically located across key states in Peninsular and East Malaysia, with a target to complete a total of 30 outlets by the end of 2026.

“Designed for a generation that is confident, creative and connected, LEPAS is built for individuals who seek balance in career, family and passion, and who expect their cars to reflect their personal aesthetic and lifestyle,” said Mr. Men Lin Bo, Executive Vice President, Chery Corporate Malaysia.

“As we prepare for our 2026 debut, our focus is to ensure every customer experiences the refined design and dependable technology that define LEPAS. Our growing network marks the beginning of long-term commitment to the Malaysian market,” added Men.

For the Malaysian market, Lepas has confirmed to introduce not one, not two, but three models – L4, L6, and L8. All models will support multiple powertrain options, including internal combustion, hybrid and fully electric systems, though it remains to be seen which powertrain option is actually offered here when these models arrive.

Lepas Malaysia will also introduce its signature Lifestyle Experience Center in the Klang Valley that allows customers to experience the “Preferred Brand for Elegant Mobility Life” through curated lifestyle zones.
