Since order books were opened on 11-February, Proton has recorded strong early demand for the 2026 Proton S70.
The company has received 7,157 bookings, which underscores demand for Proton’s C-segment sedan offering. Since the Proton S70 was launched in November 2023, the company has delivered over 40,000 units of its C-segment offering.
To recap, Proton launched the 2026 Proton S70 back in February, updating its C-segment sedan with the new turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder BHE15 petrol engine.
Other updates include some styling changes to the headlights and wheels, as well as the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to its 10.25-inch infotainment display. The Flagship X variant also gets black headliner and a sunroof.
The 2026 Proton S70 is priced between RM 68,800 (Executive) to RM 89,800 (Flagship X).
“Surpassing the 40,000-unit milestone since its debut is a significant achievement for the Proton and demonstrates the continued confidence Malaysians have in the model. We will remain committed to build on this momentum while ensuring customers continue to benefit from the strong ownership experience supported by Proton’s nationwide network” said Dato’ Ir. Abdul Rashid Musa, Chief Executive Officer of Proton Edar Sdn Bhd.
