Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the 2026 Mercedes-AMG GLC43 4MATIC Coupe Nightfall Edition, the second Nightfall Edition model following the GLA Nightfall Edition earlier this year.
The new GLC43 4MATIC Coupe Nightfall Edition is locally assembled (CKD) and priced from RM 518,888 (on-the-road without insurance) for Peninsular Malaysia.
The Nightfall Edition is a special edition of the AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé, adding the AMG Night Package Exterior II, AMG Real Performance Sound, and a handful of darkened exterior details on top of the regular GLC43 4MATIC Coupe.
The Nightfall Edition builds on the standard AMG Night Package Exterior with the addition of the Night Package Exterior II. Dark Chrome detailing is applied to the radiator trim slats, model designation on the fenders and rear, and the rear star emblem. An AMG fuel filler cap in silver chrome with “AMG” lettering and black accents adds a subtle finishing touch.
Digital Light headlamps are fitted as standard, continuously adapting illumination to traffic and road conditions. The car rides on 21-inch AMG Y-spoke light-alloy wheels with silver-painted brake calipers.
The cabin carries AMG sport seats in Artico man-made leather upholstery, AMG carbon-fibre trim elements, and an AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather. The MBUX infotainment system includes AMG-specific displays and functions, paired with a Burmester 3D surround sound system.
A key addition to the Nightfall Edition is AMG Real Performance Sound, which delivers selectable in-cabin sound characteristics: Balanced for a sporty-subtle note, or Powerful for a more emotionally charged exhaust tone. The setting is adjustable via a button or the touchscreen.
The GLC 43 Nightfall Edition is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, hand-built in Affalterbach under the One Man, One Engine principle. It produces 421 PS at 6,750 rpm and 500 Nm at 5,000 rpm, with an additional 14 PS boost available from a belt-driven starter generator (RSG), which is a mild hybrid (MHEV) setup that also handles coasting and energy recuperation via 48-volt technology.
The 0-100 km/h sprint takes 4.5 seconds, with top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. Rear-axle steering of up to 2.5 degrees is fitted to improve agility and manoeuvrability.
Martin Schulz, CEO and President of Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia, said, “The introduction of the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé Nightfall Edition reflects our strategic focus on continuously expanding our product offering to meet the diverse expectations of our customers. This latest addition allows us to respond to those needs with greater precision, bringing together dynamic design, enhanced specification, and the performance character of AMG in an even sportier form.”
Nadia Trimmel, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia, added, “With the Nightfall Edition, we bring an expressive layer to the Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupé experience through a seamless blend of design and driving emotion. From the exclusive AMG Night Package Exterior II to AMG Real Performance Sound, every detail is designed to enrich engagement behind the wheel and deliver a distinctive ownership experience for customers who value both individuality and performance.”
