2026 Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II revealed with more power and more range

Rolls-Royce has announced the 2026 Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II and Black Badge Spectre Series II, bringing engineering updates and an expanded Bespoke offering to its EV super-coupe. Key changes include a claimed range increase of up to 18% to 628 km under WLTP, charging times reduced by up to 14%, higher torque, and a suite of new interior materials and exterior finishes.

The standard Spectre Series II now produces 442 kW (601 PS) and 1,015 Nm, which can be increased to 1,100 Nm in Spirited Mode. The Black Badge Spectre Series II goes further, with the Infinity Mode unlocking 500 kW (680 PS), making it the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built, while Spirited Mode delivers up to 1,100 Nm. The range and charging improvements come from re-engineered battery cell technology.

The Spectre’s fastback profile, clean surfacing, and split headlamp signature are carried over unchanged from before. A new solid exterior colour, Ethereal Blue, has been developed specially for Series II.

New 23-inch forged alloy wheels feature a heavily faceted multi-spoke design, hand-finished for up to six hours per wheel. Two finishes are available: part-polished and fully polished.

For the Black Badge Spectre Series II, a new Iced Black Exterior Detailing option converts almost all brightwork: grille surround, sideframe finishers, bumper inserts, door handles, Double R Badge surround, and Spirit of Ecstasy, to a matte finish using a specially developed matte clearcoat. The Pantheon Grille vanes remain polished. A new open-spoke wheelset is available, including in a new Iced Matte Black finish — the first time a Black Badge wheel has been offered in this finish.

The Interior Panel and Clock Gallery now span the full width of the fascia, joined by a new Illuminated Fascia artwork featuring 8,108 individual pixel-like illuminations arranged in a directional wave pattern. A new timepiece with aviation instrument-inspired dial, cast metal hands, and an up-lit Spirit of Ecstasy figurine in solid stainless steel completes the clock vitrine.

New interior materials for Series II include:

Duality Twill: a rayon fabric made from bamboo, embroidered with an abstract double-R graphic with nautical rope references. Available in Lilac, Chocolate, Black, and new Sage colourways, with over 50 thread colour options. A full Duality Twill interior can incorporate up to 2.6 million stitches and 10 miles of thread, taking up to 25 hours to complete.

Placed Perforation: precision-cut leather featuring 78,138 perforations in three sizes (0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, and 1.2 mm) across the front and rear seat shoulders and headrests, with a pattern inspired by cloud silhouettes in moonlight. When combined with the optional illuminated door panels, the perforation pattern disperses towards each light source.

Brindled Walnut veneer: a high-gloss finish combining non-fruiting walnut with residual eucalyptus fibres from paper production, creating a layered tiger-stripe pattern. The veneer is sealed with a lacquer infused with glass flake powder, with a final clearcoat that gives the impression of suspended particles beneath the surface.

Spectre was Rolls-Royce’s second best-selling model globally in 2025. Average annual mileage sits at around 4,000 miles (6,500 km), consistent with previous two-door Rolls-Royce models. One European client has covered over 30,000 miles in two years of ownership.
