At the ongoing 2026 Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show, Perodua has showcased the Perodua C2 Concept car.
According to the second national car maker, C2 also stands for Chapter 2, which is the second chapter of their ongoing EV journey. “The C2 is part of our ongoing EV storyline. It expands our narrative of made by Malaysians for the world as we improve the future of mobility experience for our customers,” Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad said.
You read that right – the C2 you’re seeing here is very likely the sedan version of the Perodua QV-E, as Perodua’s press kit hinted that the C2 is a B-segment, likely with a sedan or fastback design.
He added: “The C2 will be our basis for our future EV, and we are looking forward to engaging with visitors to our booth on their views and comments to ensure that our future product will exceed our customers’ expectations”.
Not much else is known at the time of writing, but as a recap, the Perodua QV-E retails for RM 80,000, not including the battery. The QV-E is Malaysia’s first EV to offer battery-as-a-service (BaaS), requiring an additional RM 275 subscription fee.
