After multiple local previews, including its recent showcase at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, the 2025 Mazda CX-60 is now officially open for booking across Mazda dealerships in Malaysia. The model was shown alongside the kitted-up Mazda 3 Concept 2025.
According to a post by Mazda Bandar Puteri Puchong, this fully-imported (CBU from Japan) premium mid-size SUV is expected to retail from RM 199,000, with first deliveries anticipated in September 2025.
Powertrain and Drivetrain
The Malaysian-spec CX-60 is expected to feature:
- A 2.5-litre naturally aspirated inline-four petrol engine: 191 PS and 261 Nm of torque
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic
- Drivetrain: Rear-wheel drive (RWD)

Other equipment on the 2025 Mazda CX-60 bound for Malaysia include 20-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, Nappa leather upholstery, maple wood trim, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment display, automatic dual-zone climate control with rear air vents, head-up display (HUD).

While the social media postings did not mention details surrounding the sound system of the Malaysian-spec CX-60, a quick check at regional CX-60 models (Singapore and Indonesia) reveal that the premium SUV is equipped with a 12-speaker Bose sound system. It remains to be seen if the Bose sound system is offered on the Malaysia-bound CX-60.
