Will the 2025 Toyota Vios Hybrid come to Malaysia?

At the time of writing, UMW Toyota Motor has yet to confirm whether the Vios Hybrid will be introduced in Malaysia. If launched locally, it could be the first non-national hybrid sedan in its segment since the debut of the Honda City e:HEV, which is currently priced from RM 111,900.

Given the growing focus on electrification and fuel efficiency, the Vios Hybrid could fit well into Malaysia’s B-segment market — especially if priced competitively below RM 120k.
