What’s different on the 2025 GWM Ora Good Cat GT?

Starting with the visual upgrades, the GT offers a more aggressive body kit that comprises of a rear diffuser and GT badging, as well as contrasting yellow highlights (front bumper, rear diffuser, side mirror caps and wheels). While not visible in this set of photos, the Good Cat GT also gets a splash of yellow highlights inside the cabin, including on the seats and dashboard.

Crucially, there’s also a bump in performance. The front-mounted electric motor now outputs 126 kW (171 PS) and 250 Nm, which is a 25 PS increase over the regular Good Cat variants.

Powering that motor is a lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 57.70-kWh allows for a NEDC-rated range of 460 km. The GT variant also features “Launch Control”, which isn’t available on the regular variants.

The Ora Good Cat GT features up to 6.6 kW of AC charging, while DC fast charging goes up to 60 kW. Quick charging takes 40 minutes from 30% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC), while AC charging from 0% to 100% takes 10 hours.

That being said, these specifications are applicable to the Thai-spec models. Upon the model’s launch in Malaysia, the specs may differ as our local spec Good Cat models are imported from China.

As a recap, the regular Ora Good Cat is priced from RM 113,800 for the 400 Pro variant, while the 500 Ultra is priced from RM 143,800. Expect the GT to cost a bit more than the regular variants.

Now that GWM Malaysia has showcased the model in public, the local launch should be right around the corner. Stay tuned for that.
