2025 looks like it’s going to be a busy for Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia, as the company also teased the arrival of the GWM Ora Good Cat GT during the preview of the GWM Tank 500.
Based on the Thai-spec car, GT variant gets a more aggressive body kit, featuring a rear diffuser and variant-specific badging. The Ora Good Cat GT also gets contrasting yellow highlights on the exterior (front bumper, rear diffuser, side mirror caps, and brake calipers) and interior (dashboard trim, door cards, and seats).
In terms of powertrain, the Thai-spec Ora Good Cat GT features a front-mounted electric motor that does 126 kW (171 PS) and 250 Nm, marking a 28 PS increase over the non-GT variants.

A lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 57.70-kWh allows for a NEDC-rated range of 460 km. The GT variant also features “Launch Control”, which isn’t available on the regular variants.
The Ora Good Cat GT features up to 6.6 kW of AC charging, while DC fast charging goes up to 60 kW. Quick charging takes 40 minutes from 30% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC), while AC charging from 0% to 100% takes 10 hours.
Do note that this configuration is applicable for the Ora Good Cat GT that’s manufactured and sold in Thailand; our Malaysian-spec Ora Good Cat GT may differ. After all, our regular Good Cat variants are imported (CBU) from China and not Thailand.
As a brief recap, the regular Ora Good Cat is priced from RM 113,800 for the 400 Pro variant, while the 500 Ultra is priced from RM 143,800. Expect the GT to cost a bit more than the regular variants.
