Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has just introduced the new 2025 Mercedes-AMG CLE53 4Matic+ Coupe, a two-door performance model that blends the sportiness of the C-Class with the presence and comfort of the E-Class.
Priced from RM 722,888, the CLE53 4Matic+ Coupe (on-the-road, without insurance) is imported (CBU) from Mercedes’ plant in Bremen, Germany.
Powertrain – 2025 Mercedes-AMG CLE53 4Matic+ Coupe offers twin-charged performance
At the heart of the 2025 Mercedes-AMG CLE53 4Matic+ Coupe lies a twin-charged (turbocharged + supercharged) 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine that outputs 449 PS and 560 Nm of torque. Like the recently-launched 2025 Mercedes-Benz C200 AMG Line, the CLE53 Coupe features an integrated starter generator (ISG), which contributes an additional 23 PS and 205 Nm.

Power is delivered through the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission and fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. The CLE53 4Matic+ Coupe accelerates to a top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited), extendable to 270 km/h with the AMG Driver’s Package.
Exterior – CLE combines best of C-Class and E-Class
The 2025 Mercedes-AMG CLE53 Coupe carries a bold stance with the signature Panamericana front grille, “shark nose” front design, and sleek DIGITAL LIGHT headlights with blue accents. Flared fenders, a wider track compared to the standard CLE, and 20-inch AMG Y-spoke wheels give the car a more muscular presence.
At the rear, slim LED tail lamps are linked by a dark red element, with quad round tailpipes integrated into the apron.
Customers can further enhance the looks with the AMG Night Package, Night Package II, or AMG Carbon-Fibre Package, adding darkened or carbon accents.
The blue car you see here is finished in Manufaktur Spectral Blue, which is a shade of matte blue.
Interior – Performance coupled with luxury appointments
Inside, the CLE 53 Coupe features a 12.3-inch digital driver display and an 11.9-inch central infotainment display running the latest MBUX system. AMG Performance seats in combination Artico leather/microfibre with red stitching and red seatbelts highlight the sporty intent, while carbon fibre trim pieces and a flat-bottom AMG Performance steering wheel complete the cabin.
Other features include a Burmester 3D surround sound system, ambient lighting with 64 colours, and AMG TRACK PACE, which records lap and performance data for track use. There’s also a built-in 5G communication module for the use of Digital Extras.
Handling – Precision meets adaptability
The AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system delivers fully variable power distribution, seamlessly shifting between rear- and all-wheel drive depending on road conditions. For better fuel efficiency, the front axle can decouple under light driving, while more spirited settings tilt the balance towards a rear-biased setup. A dedicated Drift Mode even transforms the coupé into a pure rear-wheel drive machine.
Complementing this is the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension, a steel spring-damper system with adaptive damping technology. Each wheel’s damping is adjusted independently and instantly, balancing agility with ride comfort. Drivers can select from three modes: Comfort, Sport, and Sport+, to tailor the chassis response for long-distance cruising or sharp cornering performance.
