Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the hot new 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Coupe alongside the sibling model – the 2025 Mercedes-AMG SL63S E Performance.
Priced from RM 1.9 million, this high-performance coupe costs roughly RM 200k less than the soft-top grand tourer.
With the price drop, the performance figures are also a tad bit lower – the GT 63 Coupe gets a twin turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 that delivers 585 PS and 800 Nm, which is hooked up to a nine-speed AMG-developed Speedshift MCT transmission.
What’s the powertrain of the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Coupe?
The power from the hand-built V8 is deployed to all four wheels via the AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system, which can be toggled between rear- and all-wheel drive models. Speaking of rear wheels, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Coupe also gets active rear-axle steering, which turns the rear wheels opposite to the front wheels at speeds below 100 km/h for improved maneuverability. The system can also steer the rear wheels in the same direction as the front at higher speeds for better stability.

According to the folks at Affalterbach, the GT63 Coupe completes the century sprint in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 315 km/h.
