2025 Suzuki Fronx launched in Thailand, 1.5L 4AT priced from RM 90k

Suzuki Motor Thailand has just launched the brand-new 2025 Suzuki Fronx in the Kingdom, joining its 5-car-strong line-up. The Thai-spec Fronx is imported (CBU) from Indonesia.

For the Thai market, Suzuki Motor Thailand is offering this Perodua Ativa-rivalling SUV across three variants and two powertrain options:

For reference, prices of the 2025 Suzuki Fronx directly challenges models like the Honda WR-V (THB 799,00 to THB 869,000).

Powertrain

Both powertrain options offered in Thailand are 1.5-litres, though very different in nature.

The first is a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre K15B four-cylinder petrol engine with 105 PS and 138 Nm, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission – mirroring the Suzuki Jimny.

Then there’s the mild-hybrid option, which gets a K15C engine with 101 PS and 135 Nm, hooked up to a DC electric motor with 3.1 PS and 60 Nm. Said motor is powered by a 6 Ah lithium-ion battery pack, sending drive to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior

The Suzuki Fronx is a small A-segment SUV that competes against models like the Honda WR-V and Perodua Ativa. It measures 3,995 mm long, 1,765 mm wide, and 1,550 mm tall. Its wheelbase is 2,520 mm long – more than the Honda WR-V.

Underpinning the Suzuki Fronx is the Heartect platform, similar to the Suzuki Baleno, Suzuki Ertiga (second generation model), Suzuki e-Vitara, and Suzuki Swift (ZC63S & ZC33 onwards).

Colour options for Thailand include Cool Black Metallic, Metallic Magma Grey, Savanna Ivory Metallic, Silky Silver Metallic, and Pearl Snow White.

The top-spec GLX Plus can be had with dual-tone colour options, which include Ice Greyish Blue Metallic, Savanna Ivory Metallic, and Pearl Snow White – all of which can be had with a Cool Black Metallic roof.
