BYD Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD vehicles in Malaysia, has delivered over 100 units of the 2025 BYD Seal 6 EV across the country within a week of the model’s launch here.
This first batch of buyers are also the very first customers outside of China to receive the Seal 6 EV, in which this C-segment sedan is sold as the BYD Qin L EV.

With nationwide deliveries completed, Malaysians can now experience and test drive the C-segment electric sedan, experiencing first-hand its smooth, responsive drive that sets a new benchmark for EVs.

As a brief recap, BYD Sime Motors offers two variants of the 2025 BYD Seal 6 EV in the country, namely Dynamic and Premium, with prices starting from RM 100,000.
Both the Dynamic and Premium variants feature the same 56.64-kWh BYD Blade battery pack, enabling an NEDC-rated range of 485 km.
The Dynamic variant gets a rear-mounted electric motor that does 95 kW (129 PS) and 220 Nm, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of 10.9 seconds, while top speed is rated at 160 km/h.
As for the Premium variant, it gets a more powerful electric motor capable of delivering 160 kW (219 PS) and 330 Nm, shaving the 0-100 km/h time to 7.5 seconds. Top speed, according to BYD, is 180 km/h.
BYD says that the Seal 6 takes just 23 minutes to DC fast charge from 30% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC).
