Jetour Malaysia will soon be welcoming the third addition to their line-up, the Jetour T2. This new SUV is currently on preview at the ongoing paultan.org Auto Car Expo.

According to Jetour Malaysia’s flyer, the Jetour T2 will be fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine that does 254 PS and 375 Nm, hooked up to a seven-speed dual-clutch (DCT) automatic transmission.

The XWD nomenclature indicates that the Jetour T2 gets the X-Intelligent Drive Mode, which is an on-demand 4WD that automatically switches between 2WD and 4WD. Drive modes include Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow, Mud, Rock, and XWD, as well as Intelligent Creeping mode.
The Jetour T2 measures 4,785 mm (with spare wheel cover) long, 2,006 mm wide, 1,870 mm tall, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase.
Other highlights of the upcoming Malaysian-spec Jetour T2 include:
- LED headlights
- 19-inch alloy wheels
- Panoramic sunroof
- Leatherette seats
- Driver and front passenger memory seats
- 15.6-inch infotainment system with voice command
- Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
- 12-speaker Sony Premium sound system
- 6 airbags
- Level 2 ADAS

Colour options for the Jetour T2 in Malaysia include Aviation Silver, Carbon Black, and Khaki White. All body colours get black leatherette seats as standard fitment.
When the Jetour T2 goes on sale in Malaysia, it will square off the GWM Tank 300. That said, unlike the Tank 300 and its ladder-frame construction, the Jetour T2 is built on a unibody architecture. The T2 shares its Kunlun architecture with the Jetour Dashing and VT9.
Following the footsteps of the Dashing and VT9, the upcoming Jetour T2 will likely be locally-assembled (CKD) at the Berjaya Assembly plant in Johor.
