Alfa Romeo has finally returned to Malaysia. While the iconic Italian marque is globally under the stewardship of Stellantis, for the Malaysian market, the marque is under DLSB Partners Sdn Bhd. Alfa Romeo Malaysia returns after more than a 12-year hiatus.
For Malaysia, Alfa Romeo will be offering two of its most recognisable models – the drop-dead gorgeous Alfa Romeo Giulia and Alfa Romeo Stelvio – both in Veloce trim.
Dato’ Douglas Cheng, Executive Director, DLSB Partners Sdn Bhd said, “Malaysians have a special and admirable relationship with Alfa Romeo, understanding that our cars give more than just a way to get places, it also gives us feelings, emotions and sensations. For many owners, it’s an expression of their passion, style and personality, and we’re incredibly excited and proud to have this opportunity to rekindle that connection: reminding Malaysians of our love for cars, driving, and all the positive feelings associated with it. Alfa Romeo is only the beginning for us, and we are on the cusp of introducing more exciting brands.”
“For decades, Alfa Romeo has captured hearts through its passion, resilience, and rich heritage — qualities that create an unbreakable bond among its drivers. Its return to Malaysia marks not just a revival of a brand, but a rekindling of emotion and spirit. Together with our partner DLSB, we’re excited to grow the ‘Alfisti’ community together, to celebrate that rare connection between driver and machine,” said Isaac Yeo, Managing Director of Stellantis ASEAN.
Alfa Romeo Giulia – Italian flair executive sedan

The Alfa Romeo Giulia’s heritage stretches back more than 50 years, and the current-generation model is every bit an Alfa Romeo. The front fascia gets the Trilobo shield flanked by a pair of LED adaptive matrix 3+3 headlights, with a set of 19-inch petal design alloy wheels complete the exterior.

Inside, the Alfa Romeo Giulia gets a 12.3-inch customisable display, 8.8-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless charging pad, leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, sports seats, and aluminium pedals.

Handling is backed by the bespoke Alfa Link suspension, near 50:50 weight distribution, quick steering ratio, lightweight carbon fibre driveshaft and mechanical Q2 limited-slip differential.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio – Performance SUV sprinkled with Italian touch

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio derives its name from the famous Italian-Alpine pass that has tested drivers for generations. Moreover, the Stelvio is Alfa Romeo’s first-ever SUV, though it is, through and through, a proper Alfa Romeo.

Like the Giulia, the Stelvio is unmistakably Alfa Romeo. Despite being an SUV, the Stelvio still offers agility and handling, thanks to its Alfa Link suspension system, balance 50:50 weight distribution, and extensive use of lightweight materials.
The interior of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio is built upon the Giulia, but with added practicality thanks to its larger rear boot. Other amnesties are on par with the Giulia, including the Harman Kardon sound system, and sport seats with dark grey stitching.
What powertrain does the Veloce trim offer?

The Veloce trim offers a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that outputs 280 PS and 400 Nm of torque, paired to a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Giulia is rear-wheel drive (RWD), while the Stelvio is all-wheel drive (AWD), with a Q2 limited-slip differential aiding with handling on both models.
Will there be any Alfa Romeo service centres?
According to Alfa Romeo Malaysia, it will begin with the upcoming ‘Casa Alfa Romeo’ – a fully-equipped 3S centre at TREC Kuala Lumpur. It is designated as a hub for the ‘Alfisti’ community in Malaysia, offering customers the opportunity to explore and test drive the latest Alfa Romeo models.

Additionally, the company also hinted at more nationwide showrooms, including in Penang and Johor Bahru.
