Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the new 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC200 4Matic in Malaysia. This variant serves as the new entry-point into the GLC family, priced from RM 329,888 in Malaysia.
Overview
For the Malaysian market, the newly-introduced GLC200 marks as a replacement for the earlier-launched and discontinued GLC300 4Matic. The new GLC200 slots below the more expensive and powerful GLC350e 4Matic.
Like the GLC350e, the new GLC200 is locally-assembled (CKD) at Mercedes-Benz’s facility in Pekan, Pahang.

Exterior
The entry-level GLC200 features the AMG Line exterior package, including a sporty front air intake and rear apron.
Up front, the GLC200 gets LED High Performance headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist. Wheels are 20-inch AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels all-round. Despite being an entry-level model, there’s also puddle lights with the Mercedes-Benz logo.
Interior
Stepping inside, the seats are wrapped in Artico man-made leather finished in black, which are also extended to the instrument panel and beltlines. The multifunction sports steering wheel is wrapped in Nappa leather.
The GLE200’s interior trim gets Anthracite linestructure lime wood trim and centre console in metal-structure finish.
Infotainment system is backed by an 11.9-inch central display, while the driver gets a 12.3-inch display, powered by the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) with built-in MBUX Navigation Premium and MBUX Augmented Reality Navigation for improve route guidance.
Powertrain
Under the bonnet lies a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol-electric mild-hybrid (MHEV) system that offers 204 OS and 320 Nm of torque, hooked up to Mercedes-Benz’s 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic transmission.
Unlike the previous X253-generation GLC200 and its rear-wheel drive layout, the newer second-generation X254 model here is now equipped with the 4Matic all-wheel drive system.
Mercedes-Benz says that the GLC200 completes the century sprint in 7.8 seconds, whilst consuming 7.2 L/100 km.
