The D66B Perodua Traz / Nexis is almost upon us, as the second national car maker recently dropped a new teaser on its social media platform, hinting a launch within the next 5 days (17-December 2025).
This new teaser shows the upcoming D66B Perodua Traz in a shade of red, likely Garnet Red that’s currently offered on the Perodua Aruz and Perodua Alza.

From the image we enhanced, the Traz appears to get star-shaped dual-tone alloy wheels, blacked-out A-pillar and side mirrors (is that a 360-degree camera we see?), as well as Perodua’s signature X front fascia.
Tell me more about the D66B Perodua Traz / Nexis

Positioned as a larger sibling to the Perodua Ativa, the Perodua Traz is a B-segment SUV that will likely share a lot of parts with the DNGA-based Toyota Yaris Cross. This mirrors a similar arrangement that’s seen with the Perodua Alza and Toyota Veloz, as well as Perodua Aruz and Toyota Rush.
While the Toyota Yaris Cross can be had a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that does 106 PS and 138 Nm or a petrol-electric hybrid with a combined output of 111 PS, we do not know if the Traz would be Perodua’s first petrol-electric hybrid offering.
