Pro-Net, Proton’s subsidiary in charge of electrified vehicles, has just launched the CKD 2026 Proton eMas 7 in Malaysia. The CKD Proton eMas 7 is locally assembled at Proton’s new EV plant in Tanjong Malim.
Prices are marginally cheaper compared to the imported (CBU) variant:
- eMas 7 Prime: RM 103,800
- eMas 7 Premium: RM 119,800
Pro-Net is also offering a limited RM 4,000 rebate, which reduces the price of the CKD eMas 7 to:
- eMas 7 Prime: RM 99,800
- eMas 7 Premium: RM 115,800
Both prices are on-the-road, without insurance. The RM 4,000 rebate also includes:
- 7 kW wallbox charger worth RM 1,500
- V2L adaptor worth RM 500
- 5-year unlimited internet data worth RM 1,800
- 6-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty
- 8-year / 160,000-km high-voltage battery and component warranty
- Proton owner trade-in rebate worth RM 5,000

In terms of upgrades, the Prime variant now adds a powered tailgate to its list of equipment.
The Premium, on the other hand, gets an upgraded ADAS suite, now with:
- Evasive Manoeuvre Assist (EMA): Helps the driver steer around obstacles during emergency situations, reducing collision risk
- Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA): Warns the driver of vehicles approaching from the sides at intersections, improving visibility and reaction time
- Active Lane Change Assist (ALCA): Supports safe lane changes by monitoring blind spots and automatically adjusting steering if necessary
Beyond these updates, the CKD 2026 Proton eMas 7 is largely identical to its CBU variant.
