2026 Honda CR-V launched in Malaysia: From RM 178,200, no more LaneWatch

Honda Malaysia has just launched the new 2026 Honda CR-V in the country, with brings with it a number of changes and updates.

Kicking things off is the updated line-up – the 2026 Honda CR-V now offers just 3 variants:

  • 2026 Honda CR-V 2.0 E e:HEV: RM 178,200
  • 2026 Honda CR-V 1.5 V AWD: RM 181,900
  • 2026 Honda CR-V 2.0 RS e:HEV: RM 195,900

The removal of the entry-level S means that the entry price of the CR-V line-up is marginally higher than before (1.5 S was sold at RM 159,900, while the 1.5 E was sold at RM 169,900), as the 2.0 E e:HEV is the new entry point into the CR-V family.

Also new is Blazing Red Pearl, and all variants of the 2026 Honda CR-V now come, as standard, with Honda Authorised Solar and Security tint film from EcoTint.

Hybrid variants of the 2026 Honda CR-V are fitted with 18-inch alloy wheels finished in Berline Black, while the sold turbocharged variant gets similar-sized wheels finished in Sparkle Silver.

Inside, the top-spec RS variant adds a darker hairline film finish on the dashboard. The seats also receive embossed RS logo.

Other updates include a new 9.0-inch Advanced Display Audio system with Google Audio Services built-in, allowing hands-free Google Assistant, navigation via Google Maps. More applications can be added via Google Play.

There’s also the Digital Key feature, allowing owners to lock and unlock their vehicle via their phones. The Honda Connect app also adds Remote Window Close and Remote Power Tailgate for the updated CR-V.

The arrival of the 2026 Honda CR-V in Malaysia also marks the first locally-assembled (CKD) Honda model to drop LaneWatch and adopt Blind Spot Information (BSI), after the Honda e:N1. The fitment of BSI also means that the 2026 Honda CR-V now offers Cross Traffic Monitor (CTM).
