Two months since its initial preview session, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has officially launched the new 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce in Malaysia.
Overview

The 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce is a B-segment SUV, entering a hotly-contested segment occupied by a host of well-established rivals, such as the Proton X50 and Toyota Corolla Cross.
Developed on the same platform as the Mitsubishi Xpander, the Xforce is essentially a five-seater version of the former. Plus, the Xforce also adopts the same 1.5-litre 4A91 petrol engine.

For the Malaysian market, MMM has contracted Hicom to locally-assemble (CKD) the Xforce at the latter’s Pekan plant. Said plant also locally-assembles the Xpander for local consumption.
The 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce is priced as below:
- 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce Urban: RM 109,980
- 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate: RM 119,980
Both prices are on-the-road, excluding insurance. As before, MMM is offering an early bird RM 5,000 rebate (valid till 12-April 2026), thus knocking the price down to:
- 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce Urban: RM 104,980
- 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate: RM 114,980
The Early Bird promo also includes three times free servicing (only labour) and entry into the Buy 1 Free 1 contest.
Exterior

In-line with other Mitsubishi models, the 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce adopts the company’s latest Dynamic Shield design language, featuring Y-shaped headlights and tail lights – a nice departure from the full-width LED light bar that’s been a mainstay of modern-day cars.

Regardless of variant, the CKD Mitsubishi Xforce dons 18-inch alloy wheels all-round, wrapped in 225/50R18 Toyo Proxes CR1 tyres all-round. The Ultimate can be visually identified by its XFORCE wording on the bonnet.

Colour options include Diamond Black Metallic, Graphite Grey, Quartz White Pearl, and Red Metallic.
For those seeking a touch of customization, MMM is offering:
- Excitement Package (Front skirt, side door garnish, rear skirt): RM 4,100
- Fashion Roof Rail Package: RM 2,200
- Practical Package (Luggage tray, mud guard): RM 700
For the first 50 customers, MMM is offering a 20% discount.
Interior

While the Xforce and Xpander may share similar underpinnings, the former gets a more upmarket cabin, replete with a white mélange weave with mocha accent dashboard (exclusively on the Ultimate). The mocha accent also carries over to the door trim and seats, giving the B-segment Xforce a much-needed contrast compared to its rivals.

That said, some bits like the air-cond vents, steering wheel, climate control, and various switchgear are derived from the Xpander.

Exclusive to the Ultimate is a large 12.3-inch infotainment display and an 8.0-inch digital driver display. The 12.3-inch infotainment system pumps audio through an 8-speaker Yamaha sound system.
Powertrain

At the heart of the Mitsubishi Xforce is a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre 4A91 four-cylinder petrol engine shared with the Xpander. Said engine outputs a modest 105 PS and 141 Nm.
However, unlike the Xpander’s four-speed torque converter automatic, the Xforce adopts a CVT automatic transmission.
