Jetour T1 makes appearance in Penang, debut soon?

A month after its initial teaser dropped, Jetour Malaysia has showcased its upcoming Jetour T1 at the 2026 Penang Auto Show.

These photos, courtesy of Theottle, give us a good early look at Jetour Malaysia’s fourth model, after the Dashing, VT9, and T2.

Like the rest of its stablemates, the Jetour T1 is a C-segment SUV, though it sheds some rugged design elements of the T2. It still offers still offers roof rails, fender arches, and bulky bumpers front and rear, but they are considerably more toned down compared to the T2.

Up front, the Jetour T1 gets a black mask the cleverly hides the headlights and front grille, as well as the prominent JETOUR wording. Towards the rear is a tailgate design that’s simpler than the T2, with a pair of blocky LED tail lights on each end, flanking a trim piece with the JETOUR wording.

Despite being more urban-focused compared to the T2, the T1 still gets black body trim all-round. There’s also a stepping board on each side. A set of 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels complete the exterior of the T1, wrapped in 235/60R19 Giti GitiControl P10 tyres.

Stepping inside, much of the Jetour T1 is similar to the T2, down to the steering wheel design, digital driver display, infotainment display, and even the physical controls for the climate control and drive mode selection.

At the time of writing, we do not know what powertrain the Jetour T1 will get. Globally, the Jetour T1 is offered with a choice of powertrains, including a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder and a larger 2.0-litre four-cylinder. We reckon that the T1 could offer the latter, matching the T2 in power output.
