This is a pleasant surprise – merely weeks after Jetour Malaysia launched the rugged-looking 2026 Jetour T2 in the country, the company has dropped its first teaser of the upcoming Jetour T1.
Like the Jetour T2, the Jetour T1 is also a C-segment SUV, albeit without the rugged design elements. The T1 adopts a more urban SUV design instead.
The Jetour T1 still offers roof rails, fender arches, and bulky bumpers front and rear, but they are considerably more toned down compared to the T2.

Missing on the Jetour T1 is the sideway-opening tailgate found on the T2; instead, the T1 gets a conventional tailgate that swings upwards.
Globally, the Jetour T1 is offered with a choice of powertrains, including a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder and a larger 2.0-litre four-cylinder. We reckon that the T1 could offer the latter, matching the T2 in power output.
How soon will Jetour launch the T1 in Malaysia?
If we wind back the calendar, Jetour began teasing the T2 back in October 2025, before launching it here in March 2026 – marking a 5-month gap between teaser and launch.
Should the same be applied here, we reckon that a launch later in Q3 could be possible.
