Denza Malaysia has shared further details on the upcoming Denza B8, its plug-in hybrid luxury off-road SUV that marks their first PHEV model in Malaysia.
The Denza B8 is built on BYD’s DMO (Dual Mode Off-Road) Super Hybrid platform, combining a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with dual electric motors and BYD’s signature Blade Battery.

Combined system output is 450 kW (612 PS) and 760 Nm. Pure electric range is claimed at up to 115 km, with a combined range of up to 1,040 km, both under the NEDC cycle. The system operates across Pure EV, Series HEV, and Parallel modes, switching automatically based on driving demand.

The Denza B8 rides on DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control Suspension, which continuously adjusts suspension behaviour based on speed, terrain, and vehicle dynamics in real time. It works in coordination with the drivetrain and torque distribution systems.

Outside, the Denza B8 follows what Denza calls a “Starship Mecha” design language, featuring Starship Wing LED DRLs and “Energy Thruster”-inspired tail lamps. Inside, the cabin is finished in Nappa leather on the Premium variant, with a Devialet 18-speaker audio system fitted as standard across the range.
The Denza B8 will make its first public appearance at the Main Concourse, Ground Floor of Bangsar Shopping Centre from 22- to 24-May 2026, 10am to 10pm.
