It’s no secret that Honda is cooking yet another facelift for the GN-generation Honda City, as we posted spyshots of the model back in March.
Now, Autocar India posted photos of said model sans camouflage, ahead of the model’s official unveiling in India on 22-May.
Right off the bat is the revised front fascia – the headlights are now slimmer than before, with a large honeycomb grille connecting both ends. This revision also relocates the Honda emblem from the grille to the upper half of the bumper.
Beneath that is a large air intake, which has also been redesigned with upward rakes on each end. Like the headlights, the lower air intake also connects both front bumper trim pieces (presumably with front fog lights on upper trim variants).
The earlier spyshots also revealed that the rear of the City facelift is heavily camouflaged, implying that we could see some changes. While this set of photos only revealed the front-end of the car, the earlier spyshots revealed that the rear bumper could receive vertical reflectors on each end, replacing the current car’s horizontal units.
Elsewhere, one can also expect some changes done to the interior, though that remains to be seen until the model’s official debut next week.
