The venerable Honda City is set to receive yet another facelift. The current-generation model, codenamed GN, was launched here in 2020 and the facelift model arrived here in August 2023.
Now, according to Motorshow Brazil, it seems like Honda is working on yet another facelifted City, as spyshots of said model have emerged.

This mule, while donning thick camouflage, is distinctively City, as evident from its overall design and tail light shape. The rear show does reveal a redesigned bumper, seemingly with a more prominent diffuser piece with a pair of vertical reflectors on each end; the current car’s reflectors are horizontal, located at the bottom edges.

Then there’s the front shot, which seemingly depicts a new pair of LED headlights flanking a redesigned front fascia. The cut-outs around the mule’s headlights seem to suggest that the updated City will receive slimmer headlights than before. The lack of the Honda emblem on the grille hints that Honda may have relocated the emblem above the grille piece, similar to the Japan-market Honda ZR-V.

Barring the changes seen here, the upcoming Honda City facelift should receive some further improvements within the cabin, while powertrain options should remain unchanged. Depending on market, the current-generation Honda City gets a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre petrol, a turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol, or a petrol-electric 1.5-litre hybrid powertrain.
Stay tuned for more updates.
