Kia Sales Malaysia introduces Kia Maintenance Plan, from RM 2,980 for Sportage

Kia Sales Malaysia (KSM) is running its first-ever Kia Ownership Experience from 11- to 17-May at the Kia Glenmarie flagship 3S centre in the Klang Valley, coinciding with the launch of its first Kia Maintenance Plan.

Throughout the week, Hyung Gyu Choi, Senior Technical Manager of Kia’s Ownership Operation Team with 34 years of global after-sales experience, will personally inspect more than 100 Kia vehicles covering models including the Forte, Cerato, Optima, Picanto, Sorento, Grand Carnival, Sportage, and Sephia. Some participating vehicles have accumulated over 400,000 km. Customers with confirmed appointments will receive complimentary engine oil, original Kia windshield wipers, and a car wash following their inspection.

A Family Day programme runs from 15- to 17-May 2026, open to Kia owners and the public, featuring service activities, vehicle maintenance sessions, children’s activities, and access to Kia’s latest products. Existing owners can also benefit from Kia Circle loyalty rebates without the need to trade in their current vehicle.

Partners for the event include TotalEnergies as principal partner, alongside Goodyear, Trapo, and EV Connection.

What is the Kia Maintenance Plan?

The Kia Maintenance Plan is a prepaid servicing package covering up to five years, covering full synthetic engine oil and oil filter replacement, cabin filter, engine air filter, brake fluid, spark plugs, and a comprehensive multi-point inspection.

Pricing is as follows:

  • Kia Sportage 1.6T: RM 2,980 for five years or 50,000 km, with service intervals of one year or 10,000 km
  • Kia Sportage 2.0: RM 3,680 for five years or 75,000 km, with service intervals of one year or 15,000 km
  • Kia Carnival 2.2D (all variants — 7, 8, and 11-seater): RM 3,580 for five years or 50,000 km, with service intervals of one year or 10,000 km.

The plan locks in servicing costs for the coverage period regardless of future increases in labour, parts, or engine oil prices.

Hyung Ho Kim, President and CEO of KSM, said, “Through the Kia Ownership Experience, we aim to build closer relationships with our customers while supporting measurable improvements in our after-sales offerings across our growing network.”
