Hello Kuantan! Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Asbenz Stern launch new Autohaus

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and dealer-partner Asbenz Stern Sdn Bhd have opened a new Autohaus in Kuantan, located in the Indera Mahkota suburb. The facility is the largest Mercedes-Benz Autohaus on the East Coast, with a total built-up area of 65,340 sq ft including 26,565 sq ft of showroom and customer space.

The showroom can display up to six vehicles at a time and includes customer touchpoints such as a Star Lounge and access to the Mercedes-Benz Lifestyle Collection. Aftersales facilities span up to 16 service bays staffed by Mercedes-Benz trained and certified technicians, covering scheduled maintenance through to body and paint work — the latter being a first for Asbenz Stern’s network. On-site DC fast-charging infrastructure of up to 120 kW is also available, supporting two vehicles simultaneously for EV and PHEV owners.

Martin Schulz, CEO and President of Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia and Head of Region for Mercedes-Benz Cars Southeast Asia, said the new outlet reflects a shared focus on delivering a consistent ownership experience across all touchpoints. “Together with Asbenz Stern, we are proud to bring our ‘Welcome Home’ philosophy to life through a modern and future-ready facility designed around the evolving needs of our customers,” he said.

Goh Chuan Kiong, Managing Director of Asbenz Stern Sdn. Bhd., said the Kuantan Autohaus represents a meaningful step forward for the dealer’s presence in the region. “By investing in a purpose-built facility with expanded capabilities, including body and paint services, we are able to serve our customers more efficiently and comprehensively,” he said.

The Kuantan outlet is Asbenz Stern’s third Autohaus, with the dealer also operating facilities in Kedah and Terengganu. The RM 23 million investment in the Kuantan facility brings Asbenz Stern’s total network investment to RM 35 million.
