Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has used KLIMS 2026 as the platform to preview the new 2026 Hyundai Stargazer MPV ahead of its official launch, with bookings now open across three variants.
Indicative pricing is as follows:
- 7-seater Style: RM 99,000
- 7-seater Prime: RM 109,000
- 6-seater X: RM 121,000
The Stargazer’s styling departs from conventional MPV design with an aerodynamic silhouette and a full-width ‘H’ LED light bar across the rear. A separate Stargazer X variant is also being introduced alongside it, targeting buyers who want a more aggressive look — it gets sporty front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, overfenders, and blacked-out badging.
The three-row cabin seats either six or seven passengers depending on variant. Passenger-focused features include a 10.25-inch digital display, a wireless charging pad, and integrated seat-back tables. The overall interior layout prioritises usable space and daily practicality over a bare-bones people-mover approach.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre Smartstream petrol engine paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). Safety kit is covered by the Hyundai SmartSense ADAS suite, which includes Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go functionality. The Stargazer will be backed by an 8-year/160,000km warranty.
Visitors to KLIMS 2026 at MITEC, which runs until 21-June 2026, can test drive the Stargazer and place bookings directly at the Hyundai booth. Full pricing will be confirmed at the official launch.
