iCaur 03 spare parts ready at new Omoda | Jaecoo warehouse, 10k ready parts

Spare part worries are set to ease as Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia announces the opening of a new spare parts warehouse in Shah Alam, located within the Hicom Industrial Estate.

With a built-up area of 88,000 sq. ft, the new facility is more than double the size of the previous one. The expansion significantly increases storage and logistics capacity for all brands under the Chery group of companies in Malaysia. The warehouse is owned and operated by Chery Corporate Malaysia.

Currently, the warehouse holds approximately 10,000 parts for Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles sold in Malaysia, along with a dedicated iCaur parts stockpile. This ensures dealer readiness ahead of the iCaur 03’s local launch, expected in Q3 2025.

Expanding aftersales support to match growing demand

The warehouse upgrade supports a rapidly growing dealer network. Omoda | Jaecoo now operates 45 dealerships nationwide, offering both sales and aftersales support. Meanwhile, iCaur has secured 11 dealer partners, with further expansion planned across the country.

Speaking on the significance of the new warehouse, Emily Lek, Vice President of Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia, shared, ““The centrally located Chery Corporate Malaysia Warehouse is pivotal in supporting our growing dealership network while upholding the premium aftersales service standards our customers expect.”

The move also reaffirms the brand’s long-term investment in Malaysia as both a local and regional hub. Lek added, ““As we redefine attainable luxury, the customer experience remains at the heart of Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia’s mission. Beyond vibrant customer touchpoints, it’s essential that our network dynamically supports the aftersales needs of our expanding customer base.”
