
GWM Malaysia has announced that the company has appointed Roslan Abdullah as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
His appointment as GWM Malaysia’s COO further reinforces GWM Malaysia’s commitment to long-term growth, innovation, and deeper integration into the Malaysian market.
Roslan Abdullah’s rich automotive experience
With over 30 years of experience in the Malaysian automotive industry, Mr Roslan brings a wealth of knowledge and proven leadership. Prior to joining GWM, he was Deputy CEO at Proton, and before that, President and COO at Honda Malaysia from 2012 to 2019. He also served as General Manager at DRB-Hicom from June 2019 until June 2025.

He added, “We are aligned with the Government’s aspirations under the National Automotive Policy to and will continue to support Malaysia’s shift towards sustainable and intelligent transportation.”
