Looks like we’re inching closer to the official launch, as the 2025 Mazda 3 1.5L bookings are now opened by official Mazda distributor Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd.
As before, the 2025 Mazda 3 1.5L will be available in both sedan and hatchback forms, with prices starting from RM 119,620 (on-the-road, without insurance). Versus the 2025 Mazda 3 2.0L, the 1.5L variant is roughly RM 37k cheaper.

However, the price gap is considerably smaller when compared to the Mazda 2 1.5L, which retails for RM 111,562. The larger Mazda 3 is just RM 8k more than the Mazda 2, and the former offers a whole host of improvements and upgrades, which we will dive into.
According to Bermaz Motor’s official booking page, the soon-to-be launched 2025 Mazda 3 1.5L gets a host of upgrades compared to the model it replaces, which includes the full Mazda i-Activesense ADAS suite, leather seats with memory function, 10.25-inch infotainment display with Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, smart keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers, and LED signature lighting.

Powering this C-segment model is a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder SkyActiv-G petrol engine that does 118 PS and 153 Nm, deployed to the front wheels via a six-speed SkyActiv-Drive automatic transmission.
Like its 2.0L siblings, the 2025 Mazda 3 1.5L can be had in seven body colours, including Deep Crystal Blue, Jet Black, Machine Grey, Platinum Quartz, Polymetal Grey, Snowflake White Pearl, and Mazda’s signature colour – Soul Red Crystal.

As reported earlier, the reintroduction of the entry-level Mazda 3 is set to happen some time in September 2025, which could coincide with the debut of Bermaz Motor’s flagship model, the Mazda CX-60.
Currently, the Mazda 3 2.0L has a starting price of RM 156,059 for the 2.0 Sedan High variant, and tops out at RM 175,059 for the top spec 2.0 Liftback High Plus Ignite Edition.
