The second SUV in Hyundai Motor Malaysia’s (HMY) local line-up is the refreshed 2025 Hyundai Tucson. This new SUV replaces the earlier fourth-generation model that was launched here in late-2023.
Prices for the 2025 Hyundai Tucson facelift in Malaysia are as follow:
- Tucson 2.0 Style: RM 143,888
- Tucson 1.6T Prime: RM 164,888
- Tucson 1.6T Prestige: RM 186,888
- Tucson HEV Prestige: RM 197,888
All prices are on-the-road, without insurance.
The Tucson will be the second model that HMY has mentioned that they will be locally-assembling (CKD) at the Inokom plant. At launch, the model is imported (CBU) from Korea.

Up front, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson facelift continues to offer the unmistakable front fascia with hidden “Parametric Jewel” LED daytime running lights. This time around, there are only three LEDs on each end, restyled with softer edges.

Additionally, the front grille, while appearing similar to the pre-facelift mode, now gets less rows than before (three rows instead of four). A larger lower air intake completes the front fascia of the 2025 Tucson facelift.

Towards the rear-end of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson facelift, there’s a reprofiled rear diffuser piece, which looks more elegant than before. The reverse light and rear fog light are also positioned lower than before.

Changes to the cabin are more substantial than the exterior updates. There’s now a horizontal dual-screen curved display for both the instrument cluster and infotainment display, reminiscent of the Ioniq 5. Beneath the new dual screens is a full-width air-conditioning vent, controlled by an equally air-conditioning panel.

The push button-type gear shifter has made way for a new steering column-mounted unit, thus freeing up space on the centre console.
A total of three powertrains are offered on the 2025 Hyundai Tucson facelift:
- 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine (156 PS, 192 Nm), 6-speed automatic
- 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol (180 PS, 265 Nm), 7-speed DCT
- 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol-electric hybrid (235 PS, 367 Nm), 6-speed automatic
For the Malaysian market, HMY will be offering four variants of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson facelift:
- Style (2.0 NA, 2WD)
- Prime (1.6T, 2WD)
- Prestige (1.6T, 4WD)
- Prestige (Hybrid, 2WD)

Safety kit includes six airbags for all variants of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson facelift, while the Hyundai SmartSense ADAS is fitted to the Prime and Prestige variants. The Hyundai SmartSense ADAS includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), Blind-spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA), Rear Occupant Alert (ROA), Lane Following Assist (LFA), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Driver Attention Alert (DAW) with Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA), Smart Cruise Control S(CC), Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA), Blind-Spot View Monitor, Surround View Monitor, and Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning (PDW).

Similar to the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe, the C-segment Tucson will also be available in five colours, namely Amazon Grey Metallic, Creamy White Pearl, Ocean Indigo Pearl, Phantom Black Pearl, and Titan Grey Metallic.
