Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur has just launched the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario in Malaysia. The new model is the successor to the Huracan as the entry-point into the Lamborghini family.

The Lamborghini Temerario derives its name from a fighting bull that fought in 1875. Additionally, Temerario also means fierce and courageous.

Prices start from RM 1.35 million before taxes, duties, and options.

The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario is the first turbocharged Lamborghini

At the heart of the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario is a turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine, codenamed L411, that has a specific output of 200 PS per litre, bringing the peak power to 800 PS from 9,000 rpm to 9,750 rpm and 730 Nm of torque between 4,000 rpm to 7,000 rpm. Thanks to the flat plane nature of said V8 engine, it can rev to 10,000 rpm.

The Lamborghini Temerario is the second model in the line-up to offer a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system, with the first being the Lamborghini Urus.

There’s a total of 3 electric motors – one is sandwiched between the engine and the eight-speed dual-clutch (DCT) automatic transmission, while the other two are fitted to the front axle.

Combined system output of the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario is 920 PS, propelling this 1,690 kg supercar from 0-100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 343 km/h.

The electric motors are powered by a 3.8-kWh battery pack from the Lamborghini Revuelto.

While the Lamborghini Temerario may feature a lot of firsts for the Sant’Agata-based company, the design is unmistakably Lamborghini – sharp lines across the body, minimal front and rear overhangs, with a healthy dose of aerodynamic bits.

The Lamborghini Temerario also gets a lot of hexagonal design elements, including within the LED daytime running lights (DRLs), side air intakes, tail lights, and even the exhaust pipe.

Speaking of exterior, the launch model seen here is finished in a shade of blue called Blu Marinus. If this colour doesn’t tickle your fancy, fret not, as Lamborghini has mentioned that potential buyers can choose from over 400 body colours and special liveries to make their Temerario, theirs.

Wheel sizes are 20-inch up front and 21-inch at the rear, and are available in three different designs and materials – cast rims (three colours), forged (four colours), and carbon. Bridgestone is exclusive tyre partner for the Lamborghini Temerario, with the Temerario coming factory-fitted with custom engineered Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres.

Carbon fibre can also be specified on the interior and exterior, including the front splitter, mirror caps, side upper vents, rear diffuser, centre console, air vents, instrument cluster, door switch frame, steering wheel, steering column, and gearshift.

Those interested in track driving would be pleased to know that Lamborghini also offers an ‘Alleggerita’ (lightweight) package, which can shave up to 25 kg with lightweight exterior parts and carbon rims. In addition to reducing weight, the Alleggerita package also increases the downforce aerodynamics of the Temerario.

Inside, the Lamborghini Temerario offers 13 driving modes, which can be selected via the rotos on the steering wheel – upper left red-crowned rotor is selectable between Citta, Strada, Sport, Corsa, and Corsa Plus. The checkered flag button, when pressed for two seconds, activates Launch Control.

There are also dedicated hybrid driving modes, including Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance. The Hybrid toggle is the upper right rotor.

The driver gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster which displays the driving mode. There’s also an 8.4-inch portrait infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. As for the passenger, there’s a 9.1-inch passenger display as well.

A new spaceframe chassis that the Temerario is built upon allows the new supercar to offer more interior space than the Huracan. There’s 34 mm more headroom and 46 mm more legroom, as well as 4.8-degree increase in visibility. For taller drivers, the Temerario can accommodate passengers up to 200 cm even with a helmet.

“We are thrilled to debut the Temerario here in Malaysia. Setting a new standard in the super sports car segment, the Temerario delivers outstanding performance and advanced hybrid innovation,” says Francesco Scardaoni, Region Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific. “Driven by an all-new twin turbo V8 hybrid powertrain, it delivers the highest level of performance and comfort for a peerless driving experience rooted in Italian automotive excellence from Sant’Agata Bolognese. As a true Fuoriclasse, it empowers drivers of all skills level to fully engage with its precision handling and emotional appeal.”

The introduction of the Temerario marks an important step for Lamborghini’s Direzione Cor Tauri strategy, which focuses on sustainability through hybridisation and full-electric models by 2030.
