Proton has received 5,000 bookings for its upcoming all-new 2025 Proton X50, just 10 days after bookings were opened on 5-July 2025.
That translates into one booking for the all-new 2025 Proton X50 is received in every three minutes, and it represents a 50% take-up of the early bird promo that consists of a RM 1,000 cash rebate, special edition Touch N Go card, and an exclusive Gempak! Deal – all for the first 10,000 customers.
Zhang Qiang, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Proton Edar said, “The incredible response we have seen for the All-New Proton X50, truly shows how much Malaysians love this model. We are humbled by the 5,000 bookings received in just 10 days, and to keep the momentum rolling in the final week prior to the launch, we will offer test drives at our outlets beginning 19 July so that customers can get a live on-road experience from behind the wheel.”
He added, “Proton’s production team at Tanjong Malim have also worked hard to build up our stock levels to enable the delivery of cars to customers immediately after the launch. The target is to have at least 5,000 units ready for registration by the end of August, which will help manage the time it takes for a customer to receive their vehicle after placing an order.”

With 5,000 bookings already received and a limit of 10,000 set for early booking incentives, there are only 5,000 slots left for those who want to enjoy these early bird incentives.
