Perodua’s long-standing seven-seater SUV, the 2025 Perodua Aruz, has quietly received yet another update.
What’s new on the 2025 Perodua Aruz?
In this update exercise, Perodua has dropped the Electric Blue colour option, replacing it with Vintage Brown – lifted off the Perodua Alza.
Vintage Brown joins Elegant Black, Garnet Red, Glittering Silver, Granite Grey, and Ivory White as the colour options for this rear-wheel drive SUV.
Apart from the Vintage Brown colour palette, this updated 2025 Perodua Aruz also received black alloy wheels (still 17-inch as before) and blacked-out front grille. The interior also gets matte black finishing that replaces the silver trim that cuts across the dashboard (blacked out bits for the AV variant only).

Powertrain option remains unchanged – the naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre 2NR-VE four-cylinder petrol engine continues to serve 102 PS and 133 Nm, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission that sends drive to the rear wheels. Perodua quotes a fuel consumption figure of 15.6 km/L.
Other equipment includes LED headlights (automatic for the AV variant) with follow-me-home function, power-adjustable side mirrors, LED tail lights, smart entry with push start button, multimedia system with Perodua Smart Link, 6 speakers, 6 airbags, stability control, and traction control. The ASA 2.0 ADAS suite is fitted to the AV variant.
Prices start from RM 72,900 for the Aruz 1.5 X variant, while the Aruz 1.5 AV goes for RM 77,900. Both prices are on-the-road, excluding insurance.
