Chery’s newest sub-brand Lepas could be heading to Malaysia soon, as evident from its newly-formed Instagram and Facebook pages.

This comes after the brand’s debut in Indonesia at the Gaikindo International Auto Show (GIIAS), where the brand showcased the Lepas L4, Lepas L6, and Lepas L8.

Lepas Malaysia’s new social media accounts doesn’t reveal much in terms of upcoming products, but taking a look at our neighbours over in Indonesia, the Lepas L8 could spearhead the brand’s entry into the country.

Four months ago, at the 2025 Chery International Business Summit, Chery introduced its latest sub-brand Lepas, with the Lepas L8 being its flagship model. This new SUV measures 4,688 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,695 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2,800 mm long.

Upon the debut of Lepas in Malaysia, it is slated to join Chery’s ever-growing list of brands offered in the country, including Chery, Omoda|Jaecoo, Jetour, and iCaur.
