Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford (SDAC-Ford), the sole distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia, has officially launched the 2025 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 Turbodiesel. Priced from RM 192,888 in Peninsular Malaysia, the new flagship Wildtrak variant is now the most powerful diesel model in the Ranger lineup for our market.
What powertrain does the 2025 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0 get?
At the heart of the Wildtrak V6 is a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 diesel engine that produces 250 PS at 3,250 rpm and 600 Nm at 1,750 rpm, making it the most powerful Wildtrak ever sold in Malaysia. These power figures also mean that the Wildtrak has more power than the diesel-powered Ranger Raptor (210 PS & 500 Nm).
The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel drive (4WD) system, offering six selectable drive modes: Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, and Sand.
Visually, the Wildtrak V6 is distinguished by a V6 emblem on the front fender, new 20-inch alloy wheels with 255/55 R20 tyres, and Matrix LED headlamps with signature C-clamp DRLs. A full-size spare wheel is also included.
Inside, the cabin gets a 12.0-inch SYNC 4A infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch TFT Multi-Information Display, a Qi wireless charging pad, and a windscreen-mounted USB port for a dashcam.
The Wildtrak V6 is equipped with a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, including:
- Blind Spot Information System (BLIS)
- Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keeping Assist (LDW with LKA)
- Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering (ACC with Stop & Go & LC)
- Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA)
- Post-Collision Braking (PCB)
A total of seven airbags and first-in-class features such as Reverse Brake Assist and Evasive Steer Assist further elevate safety credentials.
The Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel is offered in four colours: Arctic White, Absolute Black, Luxe Yellow, and Meteor Grey.

After-sales and early bird package
Early bird buyers will receive a 2-Year extended service package, a limited-edition cooler bag, and an exclusive Ford camping chair for online bookings.
For after-sales, Ford is expanding its Ford Mobile Service (FMS) network, which offers doorstep servicing, alongside pick-up and delivery services at selected dealers. Its Express Service network has also been expanded to 15 outlets nationwide.
Customer deliveries of the WildTrak V6 are expected to begin in September 2025.
