
After much teasing, including once at the Premium Auto Car Expo 2025 (PACE 2025), Zeekr Intelligent Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has officially launched the new 2025 Zeekr 7X in the country.
The 2025 Zeekr 7X is Zeekr Malaysia’s third model after the Zeekr X EV SUV and Zeekr 009 EV MPV.

Three variants of the 2025 Zeekr 7X are available in Malaysia:
- 2025 Zeekr 7X RWD Standard: RM179,800
- 2025 Zeekr 7X RWD Long Range: RM 190,800
- 2025 Zeekr 7X AWD Performance: RM 226,800

All prices are on-the-road, without insurance. Zeekr Malaysia is also offering an early adopter package that includes a 22-kW wallbox charger and free solar tinting.
Refer to the table below for a comparison of the Zeekr 7X against its rivals, including the BYD Sealion 7, Tesla Model Y, and Xpeng G6.

Power for the Zeekr 7X RWD variants comes from a rear-mounted electric motor that does 310 kW (421 PS) and 440 Nm, juiced by a 75-kWh LFP battery, allowing for a WLTP-rated range of 480 km. The Long Range variant, as the name suggests, features a 615 km WLTP-rated range, courtesy of a larger 100-kWh NMC battery pack.

As for the AWD Performance variant, it gets an additional front-mounted motor that brings the combined output of 412 kW (646 PS) and 710 Nm, shaving the 0-100 km/h time to just 3.8 seconds (down from the RWD variants’ 6-second time).
The AWD Performance variant gets the same 100-kWh NMC battery pack, but offers a slightly lower WLTP-rated range of 543 km.

Thanks to its 800-volt electrical architecture, the 2025 Zeekr 7X can boast these charging speeds:
- 2025 Zeekr 7X Standard Range: 450 kW DC, 10.5 minutes 10-80% SoC
- 2025 Zeekr 7X Long Range & AWD Performance: 420 kW DC, 16 minutes 10-80% SoC
There’s also a 22-kW on-board AC charger, capable of recharging the 7X from 10% to 100% SoC in just 4.5 hours (Standard range). The larger 100-kWh battery pack in the Long Range and AWD Performance variants take 5.5 hours to full recharge.
Regardless of variant, the EV SUV supports up to 3.3-kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L).

What truly sets the 2025 Zeekr 7X apart from its core rivals is its Smart Light Curtain, comprising of 1,831 individual LEDs that can be customized to display different patterns.

The Zeekr 7X is also packed to the brim with safety equipment, including:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Lane Centering Control (LCC)
- Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) with Emergency Lane Departure Correction (ELKA)
- Automatic Lane Change (ALC) with turn signal input
- Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Forward Collision Warning and Mitigation (FCW)
- Parking Emergency Brake (PEB)
- Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
- Collision Mitigation Support Rear (CMSR)
- Forward Cross-Traffic Assist (FCTA)
- Rearward Cross-Traffic Assist (RCTA)
- Driver Performance Monitor (DPS)
- Hands Off Detection (HOD)
- Automated Parking Assist (APA)
- 360-degree monitor with transparent chassis
Additionally, all variants of the 2025 Zeekr 7X features Sentry mode.

A total of five body colours are available on the model, which includes Crystal White, Forest Green, Onyx Black, and Tech Grey. The AWD Performance can be had with a variant-exclusive colour called Brook Blue with silver roof. The AWD Performance can also be had with a purple and white interior colour scheme; every other variant gets a black interior.
As for after-sales support, the Zeekr 7X includes:
- Five-year/150,000-km vehicle warranty
- Eight-year/160,000-km high-voltage battery warranty
According to Zeekr Malaysia, the company has received over 1,000 bookings since May. Customer deliveries are expected to commence in mid-September.
