Bufori Motor Car Company has just launched the new 2025 Bufori CS8 in Malaysia, the Kepong-based car manufacturer’s latest addition. Prices start from RM 2.188 million, regardless of which engine is selected.
The 2025 Bufori CS8 is powered by a supercharged 6.4-litre V8 engine that outputs 810 PS and whopping 973 Nm of torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
In addition to this V8, Bufori also offers other powertrain options, such as:
- Naturally-aspirated 6.4-litre V8: 475 PS, 640 Nm, 4.1 seconds, 280 km/h
- Naturally-aspirated 3.6-litre V6: 320 PS, 352 Nm, 5.8 seconds, 250 km/h
- Supercharged 3.6-litre V6: 455 PS, 495 Nm, 4.6 seconds, 250 km/h
- Twin-turbo 3.0-litre inline-six: 550 PS, 677 Nm, 3.9 seconds, 280 km/h
According to Bufori, the CS8, with the supercharged 6.4-litre V8 boasts a 0-100 km/h time of 3.0 seconds and top speed of 330 km/h.
Bufori also pointed out that the CS8 is fitted with Michelin tyres all-round, measuring 275/35R19 at the front and 315/30R19 at the rear. Stopping power comes from a set Brembo 6-piston brakes up front, and 4-pot units at the rear.
Crucially, the 2025 Bufori CS8 is hand-crafted, featuring a carbon-kevlar body that tips the scale at 1,550 kg (starting weight, depending on customer customisation). The CS8 features 25% weight distribution at each corner, which is further enhanced by adaptive multi-link front and rear suspension.
Within the cabin, the hand-crafted interior features a pair of Recaro 8-way power-adjustable bucket seats with 4-way lumbar support, automatic climate control, and remote keyless entry. The Malaysian-market 2025 Bufori CS8 also come equipped with a built-in Smart Tag reader.
