Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Mazda vehicles in Malaysia, has just launched the new 2025 Mazda CX-60 in the country.

For the Malaysian market, only one variant of the 2025 Mazda CX-60 is offered, priced from RM 200,510.40 (on-the-road, without insurance). The Mazda CX-60 is imported (CBU) from Japan.

Bookings were officially opened back in June, with an indicative price of RM 200k.

What powertrain does the 2025 Mazda CX-60 offer?

The sole Mazda CX-60 variant is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre inline-four petrol engine that outputs 191 PS and 261 Nm of torque, delivered to the rear wheels (RWD) via an eight-speed automatic transmission. It doesn’t seem like we will be getting the inline-six petrol engine that our neighbours in Indonesia and the Philippines get.

What standard equipment does the 2025 Mazda CX-60 get?

Starting with the exterior, the Malaysian-spec Mazda CX-60 will be fitted with LED signature lighting, 20-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, walk-away auto door lock, hands-free powered tailgate, and a panoramic sunroof.

Stepping into the cabin of the 2025 Mazda CX-60 and standard equipment include black Nappa leather upholstery, maple wood trim, dual 12.3-inch displays (one for the digital instrument cluster and the other is the infotainment display), automatic dual-zone climate control with rear air vents, and a head-up display (HUD).

Audio is backed by a 12-speaker Bose sound system. Said infotainment system also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless phone charger.

Additionally, the 2025 Mazda CX-60 also offers Mazda’s Driver Personalisation System, allowing different drivers to store their profile in the car – useful if the car is shared. This works in conjunction with the powered driver seat with memory function.

The 2025 Mazda CX-60 is also properly safe, as it comes fitted with Mazda’s ADAS suite, comprising of:

  • Adaptive LED Headlights (ALH)
  • Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM)
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
  • Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA)
  • Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
  • Lane-keep Assist System (LAS)
  • Drive Attention Alert (DAA)
  • Smart Brake Support – Front & Rear (SBS)
  • Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go (MRCC)
  • Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS)

There’s also a 360-degree view monitor with transparent chassis view, Kinematic Posture Control (KPC), and a total of eight airbags.

A total of five body colours are offered on the Mazda CX-60, including Jet Black, Platinum Quartz, Rhodium White, Soul Red Crystal, and Zircon Sand.

Similar to other Mazda models sold by Bermaz Motor, the CX-60 is backed by a 5-year/100,000-km warranty package (whichever comes first), as well as a 5-year/100,000-km free maintenance package.
