Leapmotor Malaysia has rolled out a substantial LeapOS 3.40.32 software update for all 2024 and 2025 units of the Leapmotor C10, less than a year after the D-segment EV made its local debut in October 2024. The new firmware brings meaningful upgrades across convenience, connectivity and driver assistance.
Key new features of LeapOS 3.40.32

- Driving recorder – Owners can now turn the built-in 360° camera into a dashcam, with continuous loop or emergency recording modes for added peace of mind
- Navigation in Bahasa Melayu & voice search – The infotainment system adds Bahasa Melayu for both on-screen text and voice prompts, while the “Hi Leapmotor” assistant can now search songs and artists by voice
- Enhanced ADAS control – Steering-wheel buttons provide quicker access to ADAS settings and drive modes. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Centering Control (LCC) now operate up to 160 km/h with smoother cornering and deceleration, plus improved distraction and fatigue monitoring
- QDLink phone mirroring – Mobile screens can be mirrored onto the central display via wireless or wired connection, opening direct access to navigation, music and streaming apps
Other tweaks include refined slope detection (automatically activating the front camera on inclines/descents) and improved hill-hold to prevent rollback.

Leapmotor C10 now with equipment upgrades

Beyond software, the Leapmotor C10’s spec sheet continues to emphasise practicality: a 32-litre frunk, tonneau cover for the boot, and an uprated 11-kW on-board charger that trims 30–80 % AC charge time from six to four hours. A tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) with real-time readings and a motorised tyre inflator are standard.

Interior trims have also been revised: Black upholstery now replaces the former Midnight Aurora for Pearly White, Canopy Grey and Tundra Grey body colours, while Glazed Green pairs with Camel Brown. All materials remain OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certified and are baby-friendly.
The improved Leapmotor C10 remains priced from RM 125,000 (a drop from the RM 159,000 launch price), bundled with a 6-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty and 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty (whichever comes first).
