Isuzu Merdeka Convoy sees over 1,000 Isuzu D-Max owners gather across Malaysia

More than 1,000 Isuzu D-Max owners across Malaysia made the country’s 68th Independence Day a memorable one when they participated in the Isuzu Merdeka Convoy throughout the country.

Every convoy started from 39 authorised Isuzu dealerships across the country, which saw a total of 1,028 Isuzu D-Max owners drive to various attraction within their state as a show of their patriotic spirit and to celebrate the country’s Independence Day with fellow D-Max owners.

Additionally, the Isuzu Merdeka Convoy also allowed D-Max owners and their families to participate in various activities, such as orchard visits, picnics, durian feasts, sight-seeing at tourist attractions, island hopping, and even taking part in extreme games.

During one of the convoy flag-off in Seremban, Isuzu Malaysia Chief Executive Office Tomoyuki Yamaguchi said, “The Isuzu Merdeka convoy is quickly establishing itself as an amazing platform for our customers to showcase their patriotism and pride. It is truly heartwarming to see Malaysian people from various walks of life sharing a common love of the country and enjoying its proudest moment.”

Isuzu’s Light Commercial Vehicle Division’s Chief Operating Officer Kenichi Kudo added, “Apart from the opportunity to celebrate the unity of Merdeka with fellow Malaysians, the Isuzu Merdeka Convoy was also an excellent opportunity for owners to appreciate the sheer beauty of the country while enjoying the absolute pleasure of driving their Isuzu D-Max.”
