Xpeng Malaysia has officially opened bookings for the upcoming 2025 Xpeng G6 facelift, with the updated EV SUV set to launch locally on 1-October 2025.

The facelift introduces a streamlined line-up featuring three variants:

The previous RWD Standard Range variant has been dropped.

At the time of writing, battery specifications for Malaysian units have yet to be confirmed. However, Xpeng Thailand’s website lists the facelifted G6 with an 80.8-kWh LFP battery pack. The RWD variant offers a WLTP-rated range of 525 km, while the AWD version manages 510 km.

Charging technology has also been upgraded from 3C to 5C. This reduces the 10%–80% charging time to about 12 minutes, down from the pre-facelift car’s 20 minutes. As before, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality remains available.

Performance figures see the RWD version producing 218 kW (296 PS) and 440 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 202 km/h. The AWD variants add a second motor, boosting output to 358 kW (487 PS) and 660 Nm. With this, the 0–100 km/h time drops to just 4.13 seconds, although top speed remains capped at 202 km/h.

On the outside, the facelift is distinguished by a redesigned front fascia, with the Xpeng emblem now positioned on the bonnet, new 20-inch “petal” design alloy wheels, and a ducktail rear spoiler.

Inside, upgrades include a larger 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display (up from 14.9 inches), capacitive touch steering-wheel controls, Nappa leather upholstery, 10-way power-adjustable front seats with massage (previously 6-way), and a digital rear-view mirror.

In Thailand, the facelifted 2025 Xpeng G6 is priced from THB 1,349,000 (~RM177k) for the RWD variant, while the AWD model starts at THB 1,489,000 (~RM195k).

For reference, the Xpeng G6 was first launched in Malaysia in August 2024, priced from RM 165,820 for the 580 Pro and RM 185,820 for the 755 Pro.
