After 11 years, all-new 2026 Nissan Navara is coming, debuting on 19 November

Come 19-November 2025 and Nissan will unveil the all-new 2026 Nissan Navara. The new generation 2026 Nissan Navara is long overdue, as the outgoing NP300 Navara has been around since 2014. The all-new Navara will go on sale in early-2026, starting with Australia and New Zealand, before rolling out to other global markets.

For the new-generation 2026 Navara, Nissan will adopt the platform of the current Mitsubishi Triton, albeit redesigned to be in-line with other Nissan models – it won’t be just a rebadged model.

Per Nissan’s teaser photo, it appears that the upcoming new-generation Navara, albeit redesigned, will share some parts with the Triton, ie the side mirrors.

That said, it remains to be seen if the new-generation 2026 Nissan Navara will share a powertrain with the Triton. Speaking to Drive, Andrew Humberstone, Nissan Oceania’s managing director said, “We are making sure that it’s very much a Nissan. So we’ll be making a number of changes to make sure that that’s the case.”

He added, “I think if we look at our technology portfolio, there’s a lot that they can benefit from. So in terms of technological advancement, in terms of the utility space, absolutely I think we’ve got something we’d like to bring into the market.”

That being said, the next-generation Nissan Navara will likely drop the rear coil spring suspension found on the NP300 model and adopt the more rugged leaf spring rear suspension.

The outgoing Nissan Navara NP300 is priced from RM 123,6000 for the entry-level variant and tops out at RM 154,800 for the Pro-4X variant.
