For the upcoming ASEAN 2025, BMW Group Malaysia will be supplying a fleet of BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport and BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport.

The fleet of electrified BMW models will join the government’s regular fleet of vehicles, and it aligns with Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR). At the same time, this move provides a strong model for other ASEAN Member States to pursue similar sustainable pathways and collaborations.

According to BMW Group Malaysia’s press release, “As the Leading Provider of Premium Electric Vehicles in Malaysia, BMW Group Malaysia continues to support initiatives that champion sustainability and innovation through its comprehensive EV portfolio, strategic partnerships, and commitment to Technology Openness. Electric Vehicles represent a critical step forward in reducing emissions and advancing the adoption of sustainable technologies across the ASEAN region.”
