Highest score by ASEAN NCAP: Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV (almost) wipes the floor

The recently-launched Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV was recently tested by ASEAN NCAP under its outgoing 2021-2025 test protocol, scoring 94.68 points – the highest score achieved under this test protocol. Coming in second is the Zeekr X with 94.64 points, just 0.02 points behind.

Also tested was the iCaur V23.

The iCaur V23 scored an overall score of 91.02 points and the Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV scored 94.68 points – the latter is impressive as the Tiggo 7 PHEV scored the full score of 40.00 points for the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category, 17.18 points for the Child Occupant Protection (COP), 20.00 points for Safety Assist (SA), and 17.50 points for Motorcycle Safety (MS).
