“Brunei is the first overseas market to introduce the All-New Proton X50, and this reflects the confidence Proton has in Brunei as an export market as well as the trust in our long-standing partnership with PAD Motors. It also highlights the important role Brunei continues to play in Proton’s international journey. With models like the Proton X50, the company is well-positioned to achieve its 2026 export targets and accelerate towards our long- term ambition of reaching 330,000 units by 2030, with 30% contributed by export markets,” said Wan Wei, Vice President of Proton International Corporation Sdn. Bhd.
