CKD Pekan Mitsubishi Xforce rolls off production line, bookings to open this week

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has officially marked a major production milestone with the mass-production line-off of the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce at its Pekan assembly plant. The Xforce is the second model to be assembled at the Pekan assembly plant, after the Mitsubishi Xpander.

The start of mass production signals another step forward in MMM’s product expansion strategy, while also highlighting the company’s continued investment in local manufacturing capabilities. In preparation for the Xforce, MMM has upgraded its Pekan plant with a newly established Sub-Assembly Body Shop, alongside advanced equipment enhancements across the paint shop, outfitting line and final testing facilities.

Local assembly work (CKD) of the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce at Pekan follows Mitsubishi Motors’ globally standardised production processes, rooted in decades of Japanese manufacturing expertise. Every stage, from the body assembly and painting to final inspection, is carried out under strict quality control protocols to ensure consistent build quality, durability, and long-term reliability.

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia aims to deliver the first 800 units of the all-new Xforce within April, following the completion of comprehensive quality validation and production readiness checks.

The roll-out of the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce from the Pekan plant reaffirms Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia’s long-term commitment to local manufacturing, as well as its focus on delivering vehicles engineered for dependable performance, reliability and everyday peace of mind.
